Next week, our team will be in Barcelona for VMworld Europe 2015! Whether you are modernising legacy applications, contending with the growth of data storage or struggling to meet increasing SLAs with a flat budget – we have solutions to help you transform your infrastructure with flash.
Announced at VMworld 2015 US
VMworld US was a great event! We introduced FlashSoft 4.0, the new version of our software, designed specifically for use with vSphere 6.0 (and gives you the option of write-back as well as write-through caching, to provide flash performance for write-intensive workloads and supports not only VMFS, but also NFS, Virtual Volumes and Virtual SAN datastores). We also announced three new, powerful reference architectures for VMware Virtual SAN, (that allow customers to deploy business critical applications, databases, virtual desktops and other IT workloads with less effort, while gaining exceptional performance on VMware’s hyper-converged, software-defined and cost-effective Virtual SAN) and we showcased how our technology powers innovation across our partner ecosystem.
We’re thrilled to take part in VMworld Europe. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect at our booth, technical sessions and partner demos.
Join SanDisk® in booth #S202
SanDisk provides building blocks that enable VMware’s software defined data center strategy as flash virtualisation is the key to software defined storage. Our flash experts will be in the SanDisk booth where we’ll be showing several demos of our solutions, including:
FlashSoft 4.0 is the virtual data service integrated with VAIO for IO acceleration. See why SanDisk is the VMware design partner for caching APIs and learn about FlashSoft SPBM VAIO-integrated data service for all datastores (Virtual data service integrated with VAIO, VMFS, NFS).
Virtual SAN 6
SanDisk will show the industry’s broadest portfolio of certified Flash PCIe, SAS, SATA and NVDIM products for VMware Virtual SAN 6 Software-Defined Storage including:
Fusion ioMemory: the only product family certified for the highest performance class for Virtual SAN 6 and the highest capacity for certified products for the caching tier.
Optimus MAX: the highest capacity of all certified products for Virtual SAN capacity tier.
We will also be showcasing three recorded demos of Virtual SAN reference architectures and solutions jointly developed with VMware and OEM partners that utilise some of the above products including:
A Lenovo All-Flash Virtual SAN Reference Architecture that delivers over 3 million New Orders per Minute (NOPMs) using SQL Server – the highest OLTP number published for Virtual SAN.
An HP Hybrid-Virtual SAN solution for VDI Desktops that uses the Fusion ioMemory product and is certified for the highest performance class for Virtual SAN.
A Dell All-Flash Virtual SAN Solution for VDI desktop that support 200 virtual desktops per node or 800 desktops in a 4-node cluster.
Visitors to the SanDisk Booth will be able to get hard copies of the SanDisk Certified Products for Virtual SAN and Reference Architectures Matrix, a solution brief of an All-Flash Virtual SAN Solution and a “VDI for Dummies” booklet.
Beyond our fun giveaways we’ll also be having daily prize drawing of an X3 drone! So make sure to stop by for your chance to win.
